It's leathery leaves are a great contrast to the white and pink flowers, and odd looking fruit. Combine that with the compact growth, and the tropical apple makes the perfect indoor bonsai tree.
The bark is the most unique feature: You can scratch it, and it will "autograph" the bark - staying there until it grows out.
