5.70 ct Gilalite in Quartz cabochon from the Batalha Mine, Paraíba, Brazil. Also known as Medusa Quartz, this rare gemstone features distinctive blue-green gilalite inclusions suspended within clear quartz.

Gilalite was sourced exclusively from the Batalha Mine, with no new material recovered since 2008. This makes genuine specimens increasingly scarce and highly sought after by collectors.

The jellyfish-like copper silicate inclusions create striking internal movement against the transparent quartz host, giving the stone its “Medusa” nickname.
