Annual Heirloom. Tangy flavored succulent leaves add a nice touch to a salad and loaded with Omega 3s. Leaves are light green, oval shaped on golden yellow stems.
Did You Know? Leaves have a mucilagenous quality like Okra, so you can use in soups.
Soil and Water: Purslane seeds grow in almost any type of soil, and dry to moderate moisture. Grows best in full sun.
Planting and Growing: Easily grown from seed, direct sow after the last frost or start indoors 6-8 weeks earlier. Thin to 4-6" apart.
