Coal from the RMS Titanic — An Authentic Piece of Maritime History
When the RMS Titanic set sail on April 10, 1912, it was the largest ship in the world — 882 feet long, displacing nearly 52,000 tons, and powered by over 600 tons of coal burned daily. That coal fueled the engines of the most famous ocean liner ever built. Less than a week into her maiden voyage, Titanic struck an iceberg and sank to the bottom of the North Atlantic, taking over 1,500 souls with her.
This specimen is a genuine fragment of coal recovered from the wreck of the RMS Titanic, officially licensed and purchased from RMS Titanic, Inc. — the only company legally authorized to recover artifacts from the wreck site. First featured in the Mini Museum First Edition, this coal hasn't been available in over a decade. Each piece comes securely affixed to an informational display card and includes the Mini Museum Seal of Authenticity.
